EXPERIMENTAL TYPOGRAPHY is a class that is one of 152 classes being offered by the Design Department of the Universidad de los Andes of Bogotá, Colombia.

The object of this class is make typography a more conscious and present tool in the daily and professional lives of the students. The class of Experimental Typography is focused on a different use of typography like taken as something further away that only a medium of information. The class is a „experiment of design“ that uses many sources of inspiration of different creative fields like the graphic design, fashion, illustration, the industrial design and photography, etc. With the help of different medias the students create, digitally or analogical, conceptual projects with typography in two, three or four dimensions.
